ABOUT

COMPOSER. CONDUCTOR. STORYTELLER.

Felix Jarrar is a New York-based artist praised for his "dreamlike" and "delightfully cruel" musical style. Known for his keen dramatic instincts and melodic flow, Jarrar writes musical worlds that explore modern themes with intense psychological depth and vulnerability.

An advocate for LGBTQ+ themes and self-realization in the arts, he has worked as an assistant conductor, vocal coach, and répétiteur with organizations such as the Florida Grand Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, The New School, and the Apollo Theater.

With a vast catalog of over 14 operas and 200 art songs, his works have been performed at prominent music venues across the country, including Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, Symphony Space, and (le) poisson rouge.
